The MMC Tennis Center has 6 lighted medium-hard tennis courts for recreational use and is also the home for the FIU women’s varsity tennis team with 6 separate varsity courts. The Center is located on the west side of campus across from the FIU Arena and the Panther Parking Garage.

Located just south of the Lehman Causeway and east of West Country Club Drive, Founders Park honors the visionary catalysts whose forethought led to the incorporation of the City of Aventura in November of 1995. A commemorative monument dedicated to the founders is centrally located inside the park.
The 12-acre park is divided into two regional sections: north and south (Founders Park Bayside). The northern section of Founders Park features a staffed welcome center; a quarter-mile, four-stationed, exercise trail; a completely renovated, age-appropriate and handicap accessible playground; sun shelters; tennis courts (two clay and one hard); and a multipurpose, open-space, athletic field to accommodate baseball, softball, football or soccer. Additionally, the Founders ParkSplashPad, a recreational water play area, is located inside the park.
The southern section of the park (Bayside) consists of tropically landscaped walkways, a bay walk overlooking the intracoastalwaterway and is home to the Aventura Community Green Garden.
Public restrooms and vending machines are also conveniently located on site.
Permits for shelters can be obtained through the Online Registration System.
